Junior Researcher (all gender) with a focus on "Applied Rehabilitation Research"

The Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Rehabilitation Research (LBI-RR) is seeking a Junior Researcher (all gender) to join our team as soon as possible, for 20–40 hours per week. The role is carried out across several partner sites in Lower Austria, primarily in and around St. Pölten.

What you can achieve with us

  • Support the planning, implementation, and documentation of rehabilitation-related interventions
  • Critically appraise scientific literature and contribute to manuscripts, reports, and peer-reviewed publications
  • Provide coordination and hands-on support for research activities across rehabilitation services and partner organisations

What you bring to the role

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., physiotherapy, sport and exercise science, etc.)
  • A structured, meticulous way of working and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Reliability, initiative, curiosity, flexibility, and willingness to travel
  • Strong digital literacy (especially MS Office) and very good German and English (written and spoken)
  • Basic knowledge of statistics and data management, plus initial experience with academic work and/or conducting literature reviews

A gross monthly salary starting at EUR 2.724 (full-time/all-in). Depending on qualifications and experience, a higher salary is possible.
